PROJECT TO END CHILD PROSTITUTION

TEEN HELP LINE: Too many teenagers take drastic moves in their pain such as suicide or drugs because they dont know what to do. I want to help start a suicide helpline for troubled youth in high schools - a website or blog site for teens who need someone to reach out to.

SOCCER CAMP: I have always been fond of soccer for as far back as I can remember. So too has my love of God stretched back through my life. In my idea of creating a summer program, my prayer is that I will both be able to convey the joys of soccer and good teamwork as well as the love, peace and wonder that comes through a relationship with God. I hope to build faith as well as skills in those younger than me.

CHRISTIAN MAGAZINE: My vision is to be able to help people who don't already know that being a Christian is "cool". The way I plan on doing this is by creating a Canadian based Christian magazine for youth and young adults. This is the time in young peoples lives where they struggle with who they are and what they believe in. God has placed this idea on my heart and I plan on creating this magazine that will collaborate with young Christian leaders to help write about their truths and issues that they have struggled with. This magazine will hopefully be able to help young people to realize their own potential.

RAIN CONFERENCE: My vision is for a conference to raise awareness about the issues of self-injury, depression and ultimately suicide. The conference would equip people to help others dealing with such issues as well as encouraging those dealing with these issues to open up and talk to someone about it. It would be focused mainly at those in high school and university as they are the ones who are most increasingly affected by suicide. It would be a place for friends, old and new, to come together and talk about their pain, struggles, hope and redemption.

LOVE CALL MINISTRIES: The Love Call Ministries is a growing ministry birthed in the city of Toronto, ON. The ministry is dedicated to the equipping of individuals and teams serving short-term and long-term in the outreaching and evangelism of their communities. The ministry presently has several projects that aim to effectively work with the marginalized and lost sould of our world. The Love Call's vision is to send individuals to be the healing voice of Jesus to the nations, declaring all to return to the Beloved.

PRAISE TEAM: These past few years I have become more and more involved in my church and I want to encourage teens to be free to worship God as we should. I feel that my calling is to bring all of these teens together in my community so that we can openly, loudly and lovingly praise the God who created us. I want to create an environment where everyone can praise without feeling shy or without feeling forced. I intend on getting teen speakers, a teen praise team, and an overall involvement of teens from throughout Niagara to take part in this team. I feel God calling me to create a stronger faith environment in local churches and that is what I would love to do.

GAMING OUTREACH: An evangelistic movement online to lead gamers to consider the claims of Christ. The idea is to create a multiplying community of Gamers who take Jesus seriously themselves and are willing to point others to Christ. I think the gaming world is a very dark and spiritually empty place where people to go escape reality, and are desperately in need of Christ who can truly set them free.

SPORTS MINISTRY: The "High-School March Break 11" event is a sports ministry reaching out to troubled, church-going youth. This ministry will reach out to youth, some of them are lost and underprivileged, and this is an opportunity to get them involved with something that they enjoy and at the same time receive the message of Christ and listen to testimonies of others whose lives have changed because of what God has done

TEEN CONFERENCE: My vision for a new ministry is to have a program or a conference telling teens how not to waste their lives. It's necessary because I see a lot of teenagers waste their lives with drugs, gangs, relationships, etc.

SCHOOL BULLYING: OH2YO2 (Optimistic Hearts Helping Youth Overcome Oppression) is an organization which is committed to spreading love to chidlren and breaking the habits of bullying before they can form. By performing short seminars for students, we hope to use our influence as high school students in a postive way.

FUSION PROJECT:The Fusion Project is a new concept in musical development. It’s a new opportunity for bands to come and practice with a specialist in band development/mentorship. The idea in-part is to give those interested in music within the surrounding area a chance to develop both collectively and individually. This project is open to the following: those in a band/group/music partner, those who wish to be in a band, those interested in individual lessons (Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums).

WEAR DA WORD: Wear Da Word was established in November 2006. God gave me a vision to spread the Gospel not only just through speaking but through clothing as well - an effective way to take God's Word and reach people by making His word stand out. By wearing His word, we are not only making a bold statement but we are also ministering to people whom we come in contact with and even those who just walk right by us. As we grow, our goal is to minister to as many people as possible, spreading the gospel to the whole world.

COMPASSION ACTS: Octavia desires to one day start Compassion Acts, which raises money in order to provide a week-long medical clinic to people that otherwise would have no access to it. With the money that she raises, Octavia seeks to challenge a local Pakistan Christian doctor to assist her in providing a medical clinic to a small Christian village in Pakistan.

GIRLS CONFERENCE: The Girls Conference would be a day of outreach, worship, drama, prayer, teaching, fellowship and fun for girls in grade 8 to first year university. Through this conference, girls will be able to connect with others, grow together as a 'sisterhood' in their own youth groups, as well as create a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit. Satan has been winning the "self-image battle" for too long and I want it to be time for girls to rise up, know who they are in Christ, and to see that they really are beautiful.

POCKET CHANGE APPAREL: to start Pocket Change Apparel, printing shirts to allow proceeds to go towards sponsoring children around the world. Jared wants to encourage people to demonstrate God's love in very tangible ways by challenging them to use their resources to bring God's love to children that are in need of life's basic necessities.

THE 401 BAND: PAPAI Music is a commercial recording studio with a passion for developing the vision placed by God in the hearts of individual artists, bands and worship teams. PAPAI helps organize the ideas in someone's heart in the pre-production stage with the objective of creating a final product that will ultimately help them fulfill their purpose in God's kingdom.

BENEFIT CONCERT: To hold a benefit concert to raise awareness and funds for International Justice Mission (IJM), and to inspire a servant heart in the young adults at my church. IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to ensure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to promote functioning public justice systems.

EMPOWER TEEN CONFERENCE: Empower Teen Conference is a teen-centred conference that is similar to the already existing, Empower Conference run by Jamie Kim. The only difference is that this conference is geared towards teenagers who have a heart for Asia and it's people. Empower Teen Conference is a two-day conference where young teens will help 'empower' the people of Asia, mainly North Korea, one person and one project at a time.

TRIUMPH MUSIC & MEDIA: Triumph Music and Media is a Music Industry Management and Media Outlet geared towards providing Industry Support to Christian artists in any part of their career. Triumph is also dedicated to releasing relevant, yet responsible and biblical Christian media to youth and adults alike.

KEEP IT REAL DAY CAMP: To start a week long summer day camp for kids in my community to show them the love of God through teaching skateboarding and art. We want to build relationships to connect these kids to the church.

TORONTO OUTREACH:An annual outreach event designed to reach out to youth with the Gospel in the city of Toronto. This annual effort is designed to grow each passing year with the intentions of one day becoming a crusade as well as a ministry focused on spreading the Gospel throughout the country of Canada. BENEFIT CONCERT: To hold a benefit concert to raise awareness and funds for Invisible Children, an organization addressing child soldiers and war-affected children in northern Uganda, Africa.

COPPER COIN ARTS:To work creatively with youth at risk by producing innovative artistic events to raise funds and awareness for global humanitarian projects and community issues.
